Add alternatives because they test a genuine fit hypothesis, not to make the RFP look comprehensive. The following are sourced examples, not a ranking or an exhaustive supplier directory.
| Provider | What public sources establish | When to include it: analyst hypothesis | Unresolved buyer question |
|---|---|---|---|
| MetricStream | Publishes connected offerings across enterprise and operational risk, compliance, audit and SOX, cyber GRC, third-party risk and resilience. (metricstream.com) | Cross-functional programmes needing several of those domains | Can the first release be bounded and operated within your available capacity? |
| LogicGate Risk Cloud | Defines applications as use-case workflows and Power Users as users who can build and manage applications. (logicgate.ai) | A buyer wants to test configurable, application-based expansion | Can your administrators safely maintain the proposed configuration? |
| Diligent | Its internal-audit offering describes end-to-end audit lifecycle management and integrated audit analytics. (diligent.com) | Audit-led buying where analytics is a substantive requirement | Which analytics, controls and governance components are included in the proposed package? |
| SureCloud | Its plans distinguish application scope and user entitlements across offerings. (surecloud.com) | A buyer wants to compare packaged GRC scope against individually selected capabilities | Which required capabilities, service commitments and user rights are contractual? |
| Vanta | Describes control monitoring, evidence collection, framework mapping and business/vendor risk workflows. (vanta.com) | Security-led GRC where source-system coverage and evidence operations dominate | How well does the proposed configuration handle your non-security risk and assurance requirements? |
| Drata | Describes enterprise workspaces, internal and vendor risk, controls and evidence, custom workflows and auditor collaboration. (drata.com) | Security and compliance programmes requiring evidence operations across business units or products | Are workspace boundaries, reporting roll-ups and exceptions appropriate for your entity structure? |
| Hyperproof | Describes multiple risk registers, configurable scoring, control-to-risk links and automated evidence collection. (hyperproof.io) | A controls-and-evidence programme that also needs risk-management workflows | Can the risk model and evidence permissions support the wider programme? |
Avoid freezing suppliers into historical categories. Vanta and Drata’s current public descriptions include risk-management capabilities; it would be inaccurate to dismiss them as only certification checklists. Equally, published enterprise positioning does not demonstrate your required loss-event methodology, risk aggregation, audit planning or regulatory-change workflow. Test those separately. (vanta.com)
