# What does supplier hiring reveal—and what does it not reveal?

**Supplier vacancies show the capabilities suppliers want to build or maintain. They do not establish signed customer demand, delivery availability or market-wide growth.** Treat them as prompts for supplier due diligence, not as substitutes for customer evidence.

The compensation distinction matters. An OTE range is not comparable with an internal administrator’s base salary. Equally, an implementation employee’s salary is not a customer-facing consulting rate: obtain the supplier’s actual pricing, staffing assumptions and statement of work rather than deriving a rate from recruitment disclosures.
